Think about old times as you gather with friends and have a fun filled Fifties party. Even if those invited were not born in the fifties, those who were will be more than willing to give history lessons about the decade of milkshakes, Cadillac cars, drive-in movie theaters, poodle skirts, and leather jackets.
What's My Line: This game is designed to have the players guessing the jobs of other players by asking various questions. Similar to Twenty Questions, have the player asking the questions only receive 10-20 questions before he or she must guess what the occupation is.
Fifties B.I.N.G.O. Fifties B.I.N.G.O. is played by using various mages and slang terms from the fifties in the squares on the B.I.N.G.O. cards.
$64,000 Question. This is a fun game in which players can win fake money from answering a series of general knowledge questions on pop culture. The player's objective is to earn the coveted $64,000 (which in the 1950s was a very large sum of money). Every question answered the player earns $4,000 and with the hopes they reach the grand prize. If the player decides to take the money and run if they feel like do not know the correct answer, the money they have collected can be used to receive a fun party favor. Most people will find that if the prices are placed on the party favors prior to the party the party itself will go smoother. For example, a notebook can cost $4,000 while a quality picture frame can cost $20,000 and so on.
Bottle Avoidance. In the fifties soda was drank from glass bottles so why not use this icon symbol as a party game. Place a couple dozen empty soda bottles on the floor spread out over the entire party area. To play the game the guests should try to avoid knocking over the soda bottles that are on the floor. The first player who can successfully navigate his or her way around the bottles is the winner. Blindfold each player, and after every turn, the bottles should be moved around so players do not try to memorize where the bottles are located. Bottle Avoidance can be played in teams as well. The player who attempts to walk around the bottles can be given assistance from his or her teammates.
